winemaker dinner!

I am delighted to invite you to join us for an intimate winemaker dinner with Manfred Ing from Querciabella on Wednesday, May 22nd from 6-8pm.

I will be your host for this special event featuring a 5-course meal paired with the world-renowned Italian winery, including a truly special dessert pairing.

Not only is this one of the world's most prestigious wineries, it is also one of the most uber-vegan wineries. They have a true respect for the vines and the lands, producing spectacular vintages that have been lauded by everyone from Jancis Robinson to Wine Enthusiast to Wine Spectator and more.

This is truly an intimate event, with only 18 seats upstairs at Bar Avelo so reserve your seats now.

redwood theatre winery spotlight!

Starting this April—Earth Month—I’ll be curating a monthly winery spotlight at The Redwood Theatre featuring vegan-friendly wineries in their Lounge.

The Redwood Theatre is a gorgeous space built in 1914 and serves as a boutique lounge, theatre cafe and stufio. It’s home to the Metro Blades Fencing club, Rainbow Circus, The Redwood Theatre, Le Conciliabule, The Redwood Lounge, Dog Day Cafe, and a few other innovators, promotors, inventors, and artists who call this place their own.

Experience theatre, concerts, markets and their 2 patios! The first 3 wineries to be featured are:

April - Karlo Estates
May - Leaning Post Wines
June - Muscedere Vineyards
